    The Walter Kaitz Foundation, the cable industry’s foundation for diversity, said today it will present the Eighth Annual Workshop on Supplier Diversity in conjunction with The Cable Show ’07.     WASHINGTON, D.C. – The National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA) said today it is finalizing preparations for the most comprehensive program in the 56-year history of The Cable Show. Featuring 87 sessions, NCTA’s Annual Convention and International Exposition will be held May 7-9, 2007 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.

  • 8.08.2006 : Coming in 2007: "The Cable Show"

    The National Show, the annual convention and international exposition of the National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA), will become The Cable Show in 2007, NCTA said today.

    The 56th annual event will be held in Las Vegas May 7-9, 2007. The re-naming of the annual trade show is part of the rebranding effort that NCTA launched earlier this year. Branding the convention as The Cable Show better defines the conference and should broaden its appeal as the industry expands into new areas of the telecommunications sector, NCTA said.

    In addition, NCTA announced The 2007 Cable Show will be co-chaired by George Bodenheimer, Co-Chairman, Disney Media Networks, President, ESPN, Inc. & ABC Sports; and Pat Esser, President, Cox Communications, Inc.
