The 56th annual event will be held in Las Vegas May 7-9, 2007. The re-naming of the annual trade show is part of the rebranding effort that NCTA launched earlier this year. Branding the convention as The Cable Show better defines the conference and should broaden its appeal as the industry expands into new areas of the telecommunications sector, NCTA said. In addition, NCTA announced The 2007 Cable Show will be co-chaired by George Bodenheimer, Co-Chairman, Disney Media Networks, President, ESPN, Inc. & ABC Sports; and Pat Esser, President, Cox Communications, Inc.
